G. Silva's four to pull them out of the ruck. This he did, scoring 5, 2, 24, 3, 2, 4—and 3 2 to eventually win by 10 shots, and thereby gave the champions a ten shots' win.

CRAIGENGOWER pairs were suc-

cessful in the first matches in the Open Pairs Championship played yerlerday. U. M. Omar and A. M. Omar beat P. M. N. da Bliva and F.

B.G.C.. and at Craigengower, T. Lock and W. H. Way beat their Clubmates, J. W. Leonard and M. J. Medina, 20-14.

The rinks, and tied on the other. wide margin of their victory was due to C. S. Rosselet's overwhelming win over A. E. Carey. Carey lead 1-1 at the end of the second head, but thereafter was always in arrears. Rosselet) went on to scores 5, 3, 1, 5, 1 to lead 36-4, and finished his last five heads with 1, 2, 1, 6, 3 and won 33-15.

The Indian R. C. scored their first success at the expense of the Hong kong Football Club. A K. Minu beat N. J. Bebbington 21-11, A. R. Dallah beat K. S. Robertson 22-0, and the only win for the Footballers was that of W. GID against M, R. Abbas and that was by one shot only-16-15.

At Kowloon, the Omar brothers took the lead from the start and bever opented with looked back.
