Molten Metal
WHILE a furnace of molten metal was being poured at Parkgate iron and steel works, near Rotherham, Russell Star buck Roberts (47), of Warren Vale-road, Wath-on-Dearne, Yorks, fell into the slag pit.
Because of the_terrific heat his mates were unable to ren-
der any assistance, and late that night his body had not been recovered.
Roberts was a married man with no family.
