London, Apr. 20. Sentence of five years' pena! ser- vitude was passed at the Manchester Aasizes to-day on a man named Best who pleaded guilty to wounding Judge Burgis with intent to murder. The incident occurred on April f when Judge Burgis was stabbed four times the back while waiting at
