Successful Event At Taikoo Dockyard
The Talkoo Deckyard and Engi- neering Company yesterday evening successfully iuunched the "Bart- yang," the first of three vessels build- ing for the China Navigatiun Co., Ltd. The christening ceremony was performed by Mrs. C. C. Roberts, wife of the local manager of Butter- helds & Swire, and witnessed by un Interested launching party.

A single-screw, passenger cargo vessel, the "Hunyung" has the following features: Length B.P. 208 feet, brcodih 44 feet, depth moulded to upper deck 25 feet, gross tonnage 2,000, deadweight approx. 1,000 tonn.
One-Class Accommodation
The accommodation for passengers is arranged in single and double state rooms, on the upper and promenade decks, and will be all one class. A tastefully laid out lounge has been arranged at the fore end of the pro- inenade decic with a main stairway leading down to the dining saloon on the upper deck, and throughout the acers and passengers accommoda- tion, the Thermo-lank heating und ventilating system has been intro- duced, and should prove a distinct feature of this ship.
