MURDER CHARGE
Sequel To Death Of Young Lad
An attack on a family of three in a hut in Tal-O-on the early-hours of December 1, 1939, which resulted in the death of Ng Wan, a young boy, had a sequel before Mr. Crutwell In the District Office South Court the morning when two men were charged with murder.

accused were Ng Lo and Chan Tin-sing, Ng was discharged because he had no ease to answer, Mr. E. H. Williams, Crown Counsel, proaccuted, assisted by Detective Inspector R.. Cunningham,
Crown's Allegations
It is alleged that Chan went to a hut occupied by Ng's mother and sister on a hillside in Tal-O and at- tacked them with a chopper. Ng died from injuries sustained,, and his sister suffered hend and arms injuries and was treated in the Kowloon Hospital, where she was discharged on Decem- ber 5, 1939. Ng's mother was also treated in the Hospital, but was dis-

Chan sald he did not attack the family, and learned of the tragedy on the morning of December 1. He asserted that during the hours of the crime he was in his hut. He alleged that the wife of a man named Li Tak had often asked him to rob people of money, but he did not pay any at- tention to her pleas.
