Sweden Aids Evacuees

STOCKHOLM, Mar, 17 -(Reuter). -Sweden is helping Finland 10 evnevate the surrendered areak · by sending hundreds of buses and lorried to transport the evacuees.

In answer to a radio oppeal, privato citizens and transport companies have presented their cars, lorries and huses i for registration by the Swedish Auto- mobile Association,

Only large vehicles are being sent at the moment. Some are being transferred by special ships from Stockholm wille others are going north to cross the ice at Vass, the Finnish port half-way up the Gulf of Bothnia.
