Dr. W. Lovelock, examiner of the Trinity College of Music, London, will arrive in Hongkong at the end of April to conduct the practical examination for the Trinity College of Musle to be licki in May,
Born on March 13, 1888, Dr. Love- lock was educated at Enamel School. London, and started learning the plano at the age of six. He gained 5123 organ scholarship lo Trinity College in 1913, and received' har de -- | Krea, of·L.T.CL in 1919.
From 1917 to the early part of 1019| he was in the Army, after which he resumed studentship at the College. In 1919 he gained his AIL.CO., ind 1.R.A.M. (Performer Piano); and the Following year his .n.c.a. Nine years later he received the degree of A.R.C.M. (Mary Bandmastership). He gained his Bachelor of Music degree in 1022, and Doctor of Music in 1932.
He has been on the teaching staff al the College since 1918, and has been examiner since 1920, was appointed examiner for degreen In Music at the London University In
1930.
