LONDON, Mar. 7.-Pilots from the Liner's Novel Dominions helped to shoot down a German Heinkel bomber into the sea off the south-east coast of Scotland to-day.
Their exploit set the seal on yesterday as a day of triumph for Britain's airmen.
Subsequently, the Air Ministry announced
that:
1. The R.A.F. carried out the greatest survey flight of the war last night, visiting in turn Bremen, Hanover, Hamburg, Wilhelmshaven and Cuxhaven.
2. The British machines covered well over 10,000 miles, some of them in Arctic weather, but all returned safely.
The

incn who flew over Germany were in the air almost all night. When the R.A.F. pilots returned, their machines untouched by anti-aircraft fire or the bullets of fighter planes, they reported flights that were almost boring because of their lack of excitement.

Two, German fighters took off mochines shortly after the British turned back from Bremen, and were sighted over Heligoland Bight. But they made no attempt to attack the British squadron.

If Finland accepts these proposals she will be left, to all intents and purposes, at the mercy of the Soviet. FOUR DEMANDS
According to the Paris "Soir," (quoted by "United Press") Russia has demanded:
1.-Cession of the entire Karelian. Isthmus, including Viborg (Finland's This demand. second largest city) and the western shores of Lake Ladoga, would have the effect of passing the Mannerheim Line and the natural barrier created by Lake Ladoga and its innumerable islands into Russian control.
2.-Cession of Northern Lapland, including the Petsamo arca and Finland's only Arctic ports. This would deprive Finland of an outlet into the Arctic and would give Soviet Russia a common frontier with Norway.
3.--Cession of Hangoc Islands. This would permit Russia to construct a second naval base at the entrance to the Gulf of Finland-she is already constructing one on the other side of the Gulf on Estonian territory-and thus assure her of virtual control of the entire waters of the Gulf.
