KOWLOON C. C. Recreio Defeated By Stubborn Batting: Army Win Thrilling Match
THE GAME OF THE DAY last Saturday was that between the Recreio and K.C.C., played on the ground of the former Club, and there was a great deal of interest taken in the game.
It was fairly obvious that the K.C.C. would be out not to lose the match, while only a win was any good to the Recreio.
I anticipated that the side winning the toss would put the other side in to bat, and so it proved. Fincher won and sent in the home side.
