MARMALADE is a highly con- centrated food, and should be every breakfast table. It acts as a tonic, and gives us an appetite,
Here is a recipe for a good thick "family" marmalade, which is popu lar with most people:-
Take 2 lbs. marmalade oranges 2 sweet oranges, 1 lemon, and 5 pints water; 6 lbs sugar.
Wash fruit thoroughly. Quarter oranges and lemons, and remove all pips with a skewer. Tie these in muslin.
With
