TSO CHOU WANG loves Magdalena. Why not? She is his wife. He is Chinese. She is Ger- man. They married in Germany.
And it was in Germany that the trial of their love began. In an English police court it was con- tinued, and is still to be continued.
For nine years Tso Chou Wang, who is an en- gineering student; had lived in Germany.
It was 1938. He was in love with Magdalena and he wanted to marry her. He did marry her, in Hanover that year.
But the Nazi authorities re- fused to recognise Magdalena as a Chinese citizen, refused to give her a passport to leave Germany.
Their story from that day to this! Is told by Tso Chou Wang and Mug- celent themselves.
