ONE of the latest achievements of the Russian air force has been to spray a small village and rural area, three miles long and 300 yards wide, with near- ly a thousand incendiary bombs, then aim high ex- plosives on an adjacent steel factory, missing it by a quarter of a mile.
Photographs have recently appeared of Russia's first "secret weapon" to be tried in Finland. It is already christened "Molotov's breadbasket" by the Finns.
It is an iron cylinder, 7ft. Gin. long, 3ft. in diameter, and is packed with a hundred or more! ordinary incendiary bombs.
