Suggestions For The Hongkong Team Association Council In Predicament

The monthly meeting of the Hongkong Hockey Association Council last Thursday had to be postponed because of the non-appearance of four or five members. It is true Voluntoor camps and other important business might have been the cause, but the members concerned could have at least dropped a note to the Hon. Secretary or telephoned him; warning him of their abonce.

Manila, Feb. 20 (Domeil.— The Philippine Athletic Fede- ration is preparing to send 56 athletes to Japan to participate in the East Asia Athletic Meet in Tokyo in June, it was an- nounced here to-day.

The Tokyo meet forms part of the Japanese athletic pro- gramme designed to celebrate the 2,600th anniversary of the Japanese Empire.
