SULTANAS may be used instead of raisins in this recipe for fruit nut bread-o change for tea-time.

Ingredients: 2 cupfuls flour, 1 epa. 1 cupful milk, 2 cupful sugar, 1 saltsp. Race,

2 leasp, baking powder, 1 teasp salt, 1 cupft shelled walnuts, i cupful chopped raisins or sultanas.

Beat ego, add sugar and beat ngalų. Sift baking powder, four, maca and salt together Add raisins and chopped walnutka. Stir in four mixture, alternately with the milk, to the cuga and sugar, Turn gently into a well-buttered louf fin, and stand in á warm place for 20 minutes to rise,
