Stoward Of Prosidant Coolidge Believed Drowned

Shanghai, Jun. 10.

An American stewird from the President Coolidge and two Chinese boatmen are ralssing and are believed to have been drowned when a steam [lameh overturned in mid-stream on

the Whangoo this morning.

The messman, the steward and the Chinese boulmen were thrown over- board. The Chinese boatmen and the steward are believed have been drowned. Conroy was picked up by a Chinese junk.

Owing to the President Coolidge having 200 stewards on board, it was not possible to ascertain the name of the missing man. A roll call is being taken to learn the identity of the missing man-United Press,
