After Paulsen refused to be a spy his passport was taken from him. He fied to Paris.

Neutrality In Dutch E. Indies
SINGAPORE, Jan. 7 (UP).-The) Dutch East Indies, Holland's greut Isinnd empire of more than 50 million people, following the same policy of strict neutrality towards the Euro- pean war sa are the Netherlands.
- Several newspaper editors in Juva) have been summoned for 'expressing anti-Nazi sentiment in newspapers
the future.
That is the consoling opinion of Professor A, M. Low, famous Britisla scientist.
But the professor does visualise one invention which will stupefy andį incapacitate thousands of people by sound so terrific as to be "silent."
"The weapon would be all the more deadly in that it would bo silent," said Frofessor Low.
In the last war Professor Low Invented the first, radio-controlled; aeroplane, or Queen Bee. He is shortly to publish "Modern Arma- ments"
All talk about death rays is rub- bish, according to Professor Low.

The first grave the serious-faced, sympathetic caretaker found for us was that of a father of one of the London boys. The rest of us drew back to leave him alone...
"All right, boys," he said, turning to us with a slow smile, "I stars proud to fight in the same cauNO as father did-only now ji is oyen a better cause, Ho died for mo and people like mo. I am prepared to do the same,"
As we located the second gravestone in our Hat, the Lanenshire boy said: "Mother will be pleased with me for coming to his grave. I shall write and tell her.
