EFFORT TO CONTINUE THE LEAGUE

Indians Beat Club: Recreio Win Another Low Scoring Game

AT THE TIME these notes are being written

I am unaware of the League Committee's deci-

sion, though I know that all the various Clubs with which have discussed the matter want to carry on. It will, of course, hit some more than others, but I know so well how things got slack without some sort of a League to hold them to- gether.

There was a rumour going round that the University were taking over the Navy fixtures and producing a second oleven.

It is good news that the Varsity can raise two elevens, but to be quite frank they are not worth their place in the senior division, and it will do them much more good to play through the junior division with a fair chance of winning. I don't think they will but they may.
