A white warship of unknown na- tionality wus sighted in Japanese territorial waters or Fukuoka, Kyushu, at 11.10 am. to-day cording to the pilot of a Japanese airliner

The mystery warship was sailing towards Koro Island, from point 130 kilometres south-east of Oki Is-

land, o Fukuoka Prefecture.

Another strange warship, believed either a British or an American des- troyer, was sighted yesterday twelve miles south of Oki Island. This vessel was seen by the crew of in Japan Airways airliner on its way to Sed. The vessel, cruising west- ward, appeared to be in the 1,500- ton category, but i was not possible to ascertain its rationality-Domel.
