RUSSIAN AIR ARMADA STRIKES AT FINLAND

HELSINGFORS, Dec. 20 (UP).—A Soviet air armada roor- ed over the Gulf of Finland to-day in a mass bombing raid on the Finnish capital.

Anti-aircraft fire was so intense that the Russian airmen were not able to attain their objectives in either Helsingfors or Abo.

Abo was bombed three times. in four raids. No casolties were re- ported, although several persons were wounded, presumably by falling! shrapnel.
