THE
CLOSE OF Confusion Bay Should Win The Hongkong Autumn Champions
THE HONGKONG JOCKEY CLUB will ter- minate their racing season to-morrow when the Thirteenth Extra Race Meeting will be staged. The first saddling bell will be rung at the usual timo 1.30 p.m. sharp. There are the usual eight interesting events on the programme, including three Autumn Champions over one and a quarter. milos, confined to old China ponies, subscription griffins of this year, and the Australian ponies of any season.
After this meeting there will be no more flat racing at Happy Valley until Spring. Those, who have gone down in the sink, will undoubtedly have to exert a little of that golden gift of patience until the Annual Race Meet- ing, when the handicap contests are thrown into the shade, and money will then be much easier to pick up.

Difficult Conditions At Kowloon City
CONDITIONS were far from ideal for the shooting of the Overseas 303 full range Postal Match at Kow. loon City on Wednesday. The wind was variable and tricky though the light remained good, and it was. probably this that accounted for the comparatively low scores at 300 yards. Both teams improved at 500 yards, and the aperture sights team scored more at 600 than at 300 yards.
A Spoon and Practice Shoot was also held, in which some seventy members took part.
