THIRTY THOUSAND P.K. Kwok, Esq. women and girls will be re- cruited for munition work by the Ministry of Labour during the next few days.
This is the first instalment of the 1,000,000 jobs that are to be provided for women on war work, as reported in the "Sun- day Chronicle" a fortnight ago. The localities in which the girls will be employed cannot be revealed. The Ministry in making arrange- ments, to pay the girls trade union rules of wages, and, where they live away from home, to make some con- tribution towards the extra living costs that they will incur while Bving in lodglags.

They will need varying degrees of experience. Those who have and previous experience un munition work will be specially welcomedt,
But others whose previous ex- perience has been limited to factory and mill work where marust dexterity luas been a qualification will stand a good chance of being engaged.
The girls will be required to start work, in batches of several thou sands at a time, within the next few weeks.
