Swedish Govt's Important Decision

TO

FINLAND

AID AGAINST SOVIETS

SPECIAL TO THE "TELEGRAPH“

STOCKHOLM, Dec. 14, (Domel).-The Swedish Govern- ment has oflleially announced its decision to help Finland in the latter's resistance to Soviet ag gression.

An official statement to this effect declares:

"The ordeal which Finland is now experiencing is deeply mov- ling both to the Swedish Govern- iment and the Swedish people.

"WO nte determined to extend- material and personnel assistance to Finland,

"In order to cope willi, the national emergency, the Government has de- cided to strengthen its national de- Lences.

The security of our frontiers will be defended against any aggression,

"The people of Sweden are urged to temper their speech and action, in order not to prejudice any action their Government may take,"
