MURDER CHARGE Seaforth Highlander Again

Shanghai, Dec. 4.

The trial of private Eckford on a charge of the murder of L/Cpl. Davis was resumed in the British Police Court to-day, when Private William Garrity, of the Seaforth Highlanders, testified before Mr. C. H. Haines that: on the night of the murder, Novem- ber 4, he returned from the block- house with Lieut. E Marshall and the accused.

Witness said during the trip Eck- ford told the officer, "I shot him, Sir."
