COMBINED CHINESE WIN CHARITY SOCCER GAME
DRAKE SAVES
MANY GOALS FOR LOSERS F.A. Players Reveal Out-of-Season Form
(By "Wanderer")
The 3-1 victory of the Combined Chinese over the Football Association team in the charity football match at Happy Valley yesterday was flattering to the losers, for on form display there was at least a fire goals difference between the teams. However, it must- be remembered that the majority of the Chinese team have just returned from a football tour of the South Seas, and are, therefore, in good soccer condition, whereas the Association players are at the commencement of a new season and not yet in form.
