Out-of-Season Form
(By "Wanderer")
The 3-1 victory of the Combined Chinese over the Football Association team in the, charity football match at Happy Valley yesterday was flattering to the losers, for on form display there was at least a five-goals difference between the teams. However, it must bo remembered that the majority of the Chinese team have just returned from a football tour of the South Seas, and are, therefore, in good soccer condition, whereas the Association players are at the commencement of a new season and not yet in form.
His Excellency the Governor and the left, cleverly forced a corner by Lady Northcote, the Ilon. Mr. N. L. kicking against Hussalt, and from Smil, the Hon. Sir Itobert Kotowall, the resultant Kirk Fung got his head
