the Senate foreign relations committee is meeting on Friday for Sept. 20(Reuter). It is announced that "expeditious action"

on the neutrality legislation.

LONDON, Sept. 20 (Router).-Details of a widespread revolutionary movement in Bohemia and Moravia have been received in authoritative quarters in London,

According to those sources, the movement: started on September 17. It had been preceded for a fow days by labour demonstrations in Prague, which by September 16, had developed into scr- ious clashes between the populace and the Gor- man authorities.

Firearms had been used Jon both sides and casualties are reported, to have been considerable.

Between September 17 and 19 riots took place at a number of places in Bohemia and Moravia, including Pardubice, Fribrin, Pilsen, Tabor, Piwk and Brunn.

In the last-named town a portion of the members of the German-Czech community made common cause with the Czechs.

Troops Disarmed

On September 19 the movement aprend to western Slovakia, and Slovak garrisons revolted. About 15,000 troops had been disarmed when the German authorities realised they were dealing with an organised movement, and ruthless measures were immediately taken.

The number of arrests run into thousands and those executed into hundreds. The repressive

incusures do

not appear to have had the effect in- tended, and thẻ fight against superior forces and ruthless tyranny continued with courage and determination.

The fact that, it is not just a flash In the pan is shown by the unanimity of purpose, the lenicity and cipline of the participants.

SPECIAL TO THE "TELEGRAPH"

LONDON, Sept. 20 (Rou- tor). The official German nows agency's version of Herr Hitler's speech shows the exact wording of the Illusion to a mysterious weapon.

The precise statement made by Herr Hitler is as follows:

"The moment might come very 10on when we might make use of a weapon with which we cannot be attacked,

"It is to be hoped nobody will then complain in the name of humanity.".

All Not Well Betwoon Russia And Germany

SPECIAL TO THE "TELEGRAPH" LONDON, Sept. 20 (Reuter). Well-informed quarters in London, says "Router's" diplo- matic correspondent, are waiting to see Russia's reactions to

itler's speech, and how soon an agreement will be reached on the status of the Polish frontiers.

The Fuehrer'a speech showed that the non-aggression pact did not pro- vide for the collapse of the Polish State. but probably

recognised Russia's claims to White Russia and part of the Ukraine, though Galleta and Low are almost certainly out- side the scope of the agreement.

Berlin Disconcerted The German press is obviously disconcerted by Russia's

general mobilisation and advance along the Kumailan frontler to that porial to the Balkans from the Gernians.

Views May Diffor

Russla's views on the subject are different. Hitler hos obviously aban- cloned, at least openly, his former pretensions to the Ukraine. Can he restat the imperious necessity of a Drang Nach Sudoeten?

In this connection Soviet diploma- tie nelivity in the Balkans is signi feant, not only beenuse of the visit of the Turkish Foreign Minister to Moscow, possibly for an extension of the Turko-Russian pact guaranteeing, the Inviolability of the Black Sea, but also Russin's missions to Yugo Slavia and Rumanla.

Indeed, there is some talk of a Yugo-Slav-Russian ron-aggression pect, while the Hungarians are greatly worried at the prospect of having Russia as a next-door neigh- bour.

It is reported that the gentleman's agreement between Greece and Italy for the withdrawal of troops from the Albanian frontler suggeste stabilised conditions in south-eastern Europe.
