HERE ARE two of the
escape plans handed to Mr. Justice Buckniff during the recent Thetis inquiry hear- ing. They were drawn by Commissioned Engincor Glenn, after a conference of the doomed exports, in the desperate hope that recuers would be able to work on them. The plans were brought to the sur face by Captain Oram, who had them strapped to his arm so that they might be found ovan if he lost his life in leaving the sub- marine. Above is a plan for connecting an air hose, and on the loft the faro and cscapo hatches.
