Tokyo, Aug. B. Although no final decision taken to Japan's policy towards the European situation at yesterday's Five-Minister Conference, informed quarters understand that the Army's lews were examined by the key members of the Cabinet.
At the outset of the inceting, the War Minister, General Itagaki, pro- posed that although Japan's funda mental policy in Europe was decided upon by the Government on June 5, further discussfon should be made in view of the latest developments in the European situation.
