Lagos Wins Baby Shield Third Time

THE Imperial Baby Week Challenge Shield, awarded each year for the best baby week campaign held throughout the Empirexcluding the United Kingdom-has been awarded to Lagos, Nigeria,

In the Anglo-Russian Naval Agreement, which was signed in 1937 and which is identical with the Anglo- German Agreement recently abrogated by Herr Hitler, capital ships were limited to displacement of 35,000 tons and their guns to 16-in calibre.

Aircraft carriers were limited to 23,000 tons and 6 in. guns, and submarines were limited to 2,000 tons and 5 in. guns.
