That baseball has come to slay with the Royal Engineers is attested by the fact that these rabid en- thusiasts constantly arrangleg contests with experienced ball teams, one of which has been arranged to- day at 2 p.m., with the squad from U. s. S. Pillsbury, at Caroline Hi

The Royal Scots have only recently American national taken up the pastime, but have been playing soft- ball for over a year. In all probabl- Hty, they will enter a leam in the full. Their thi Softball League advent into this infant in the sports realm in the Colony will not be any more of a surprise than the wenk nt- tempts of some of the teams that) displayed their wares last season.

The Pillsbury's outfit will take the Engineers, but the latter are out for experience, and they'll be getting plenty of it when they meet the nine from the tin can.
