Annual Meeting Of Rifle Association

That the Hongkong Rifle Associn- tion had for the first time in its his- tory shown a healthy balunce in the Anances last year, was stated by Major R. D. Walker, President, at the annual meeting yesterday.

Major Walker presided with the assistance of Capt. F. Sale (Hon. Secretary), Mr. J. Hargreaves (Hon. Treasurer), and Llout, A. J. Le Seeleur, (Assistant Secretary). Those present were Brigadier A. B. Thom- son, Major A. G. Syme, Major S. E. H. E. White, Major R. Robertson and Captain W. C. Newton.

Mr. Hargreaves pointed out that this year $754 had been made in five months. Last year the spoon shools had represeiled a loss of $1,100, but this year the figure had been reduced to $300. Cash in bank amounted to over $1,700 compared with Jast year's very small sunt. The election of officer resulted:
