COMPOSITION OF THE MISSION TO MOSCOW
LONDON, July 31.
PERSONALITIES of the British military mission to Moscow are
as follows:
Admiral the Hon. Sir Reginald Aylmer Ranfurly Plunkett-Erule- Erlo, Drax, K.C.B., D.3.0., who was Commander-in-Chief of the Plymouth Biation from 1935 to last year, and who saw a great deal of naval Oghting dartor the War, Including the Helgeland, Dogger Bank and Jutland battles, and who was later President of the Naval Allied Control Commision in Berlin, and Director of the Naval College at Greenwich. Ale-Marshal Sir Charles Burnett, who since 1930 has been Officer Commanding the training command, and who was formerly director of operations and intelligence at the Air Ministry, and Air OMeer Com- manding the Irak Command.
Major-General Thomas George Gordan Heywood, who was appoint- ed Major-General this year. He was Commander of the Royal Arüllery ai Aldershot, was a 'Military Altache in Parla from 1932 or 1936 and also acted as G.8.0, on the Belilah mlillary mission of the army of the Orient and Turkey and was at Vermilles From 1923 to 1920 he was on the staff of the Shanghat Defence Force-Reuter Spacial.
MOSCOW MISSION ANNOUNCEMENT
LONDON, July 31.
MR. CHAMBERLAIN announced in the
House of Commons to-day that the British military mission would depart during the present week.
The mission is expected in Paris on Wednesday evening, and after 48 hours they will proceed with the French representatives to Moscow, where, it is believed, conferences will begin on Monday next.-Trans-Ocean.
