Members of the French Concrasion Volunteer Corps in Shanghal were presented with Emergency Medals and Certificates as well as with various cups won in shooting competitions, in a ceremony held al the French Police Club recently. The presentations were made by the Benior Naval Commander and Lieu tenant-Colonel L. Grenler. Commanding the French Forces, in the presence of M. Maurice Baudez, French Consul-General, and M, Ch. Granbola, Commanding Volunteer. All high ranking French naval and mill-

Body Recovered

Funeral Of Pilot Officer Bryan-Gower To-day

After nearly a week of strenuous searching, the body of Pilot Officer D. H. Bryan-Gower, one of the two victims of the Royal Air FUTCO tragedy at Tytam Bay last Thursday, was recovered yesterday afternoon when it come to the surface and was. seen floating in Tytam Bay about 4.30 p.m.

The body was immediately brought ashore by the Stanley Pollice and later removed to the Naval Hospital. The funeral will take place lo-day at 4.30 p.m.

Pilot Officer, Briand Gower Flight Sergeant Ogden were involv ed in the fatal accident in Tytam Bay Inat Thursday morning while engaged in a practice Alght. The plane hit the water with some force and sank in a few seconds,
