Brutal Murder

Man Clubbed To Death _In_Kowloon Street.

A brutal murder occurred in full view of crowds of passers-by in Keelung Street, Shamshulpo, about 10 o'clock last night. Two men were attacked by a gang und une was clubbed to death.

From the mengre delalls available it appears that the deceased, Fong Sang, 25, foreman of a workshop in Castle Peak Road, was walking with R companion, Chi Kal, 25, employ- ed at the same place, near Yuen Chow Streel, when five or six men rushed at them and rained blows on their unprotected heads and bodies.

Fong and Chu tried to protect themselves as best they could, but the injuries inflicted on the former proved so serious that he succumb- ed.

Directly after the attacks the 3- sallants fled.

Chu was pkked up with severe Injuries to his head and removed to the Kowloon Hospital.

Pulice from Yaumati and Sham- shuipo stations were on the sceno shortly after the incident, and up to In late hour last night, were still pursuing enquiries. No arrests had been made up to then.

I is believed that the weapons

used were Iron bars.
