THIS SCHOOL is called “The Eton of the Blind," but there is no indication to the visitor that it is different from any other public school in the country.
Totally blind boys walk about the buildings and grounds or start off alone down the school drive to shop in the centre of Worcester like any other boys of their age. There is not a walking stick in the place or a trained dog or any other kind of ald for the blind

The 19-year-old head boy dived into the swimming pool and struck out with perfect aim for the shallow end. His racing time
is 60 yard in 23 secs.
Boys work in the gym on vaulting] horse, ladders and other apparatus. They walk alone along a 2-lich wide beam.
NO ONE SURPRISED
Miracles like these happen hourly
at the school but nobody seems to be the least surprised.
The headmaster, Mr. B. Bradanek, hud a modern scientific explanation) of them.
"Blind children can make n special contribution to elvilisation because their remaining senses are developed far beyond those of Ute sighted.
