N Irish Sweepstako ticket for last year's Cesarewitch was found stuck on the back of a large plaice caught near Eye Bay by the Folkestone fishing boat Dorothy Margaret.

The catch in the trawl was being landed when Albort Baker, one of the crew, pleked out the ticketed Asb.

The printing on the ticket and the name of the owner were still Jeglble:]

How the ticket got into the sea is not known, but it ‍is a more than ́even | chance that it was put there by the purchaser after his dream of a for- tune had faded.
