DEATH OF PRISONER Jury Returns Verdict Of

Natural Causes

Sentenced to three years' hard labour on June 18, 1937, Chinn Tim, 08. died at the Hongkong Prison Hospital, Stanley, on Jund 3.

Acting as Coroner, Mr. R. Edwards, at the Central Magistracy, yesterday conducted an inquiry into Chan's death. Members of the Jury were Messrs. J. Bower Wood (Foreman). R. Woodcraft and J. Bred Wood.

Mr. A. Palec, Chief Warder, Stan- ley Prison, sald Chan died in the Prison's Hospitol at 7.45 on June 3. Chan had been sentenced for pos- cession of dangerous drugs,
