Man Lost £200,000 In Film Venture

WHEN an application for discharge of Mr. John Henry lles, of Gap House, Broadstairs, and of Aster House, Aldwych, was heard recently at London Bankruptcy Court, the Official Receiver said he had amassed a fortune of £200,000 and then, at the age of 60, "tried to become a cinema'magnate." . _

The Official Receiver reported that Mr. Iles failed in Febru- ary last year, with liabilities of £193,583, his assets being cati- mated to produce £113,742.
