Rejection By The Arabs?

British White Paper

On Palestine

BEIRUT, May 30. CIRCLES close to the Grand Mufti state that the answer of the Arab High Committee for Palestine to the British White Paper would be published on Wednesday, and would consist of a sharp rejection of the new British proposals.

The reply hotly criticises the pro- posals dealing with immigration to Palestine, and it also contests the practice of land sales to Jews in Palestine.

It is believed that the High Com- milled will regard the new pro- posals as being even less satisfactory than those put forward at the Lon- don conference, and that the While Paper will be rejected in its entirety. -Trans-Ocean.
