County cricket clubs are preparing for a season in which the Championship will not be abnormally affected by the calls of Test cricket.

The jolly West Indian cricketers, who began their tour at Worcester on May 6, will play only three Test matches, each of three days' duration, so that demands for the services of international players will not unduly upset the county programme.
