The Sun Attacks HERE
Strong, warm sunshine is pleasant to the body but it is hard on the eyes. The brilliant light causes eye-strain which, in turn, brings headaches and ageing lines. The hot, dust- Jaden atmosphere encourages microbes, and dries up the natural moisture round the eyes, causing ocular congestion and leading to all kinds of eye- troubles.
Optrex eye lotion stops all this. lis regular use prevents strain, removes dust and germs, streng thens the eye muscles and keeps your eyes happy and healthy. Optrex is recommended by Doctors and Opticians all over the world.

BERLIN.
IF you shout in a man's car long enough you'll deafen him. And then he won't be able to hear anything you say.
I cannot pretend that this is an old Chinese proverb, but It is just about what has happened to millions of Germans during the past few weeks.
The ominous mutterings of a real crisis boyond the horizon are drowned in the terrific hullabaloo raised at home, a din which has already given most Germans the earache and has driven them to tune in to Gennan news from England every night, Just to hear someone talk reasonably.
The Quiet Voice of London
IN the morning the citizen's eyes are shocked with black headlines as thick as a man's thumb, shrieking: "A stab in the heart for the dastardly English war-mongers: Ruritalna spurns offers of British pro- tection," or something of the sort.
Later in the day the Nazi radio announcer, in lugubrious foncs, "Ruritania's praiseworthy stand shows that she, at any rate, has seen through the mask of the wicked, murderous democracies."

At a quarter past eleven at night the citizen tunes in to London Regional, without much dificulty if he has a reasonably good set. A quiet voice, in superb German, says: "The Ruritanian Minister in London called at Dawning-street lo-day. It was afterwards announced that the Ruritanian Government have given certain assurances to Great Britain that in the event of certain circumstances arising," etc., etc. Rubbing his close-cropped head, our bewildered citizen of the Third Reich pours himself out a glass of schnapps and tells his comfortable wife that "you never know what to believe these days."
Alice never seemed to be really astounded in Wonderland, but even she would have been knocked off her balance in Germany at the present moment.
Brilliant, hot sunshine is flooding the country. In Berlin the beaming restaurant proprietors are putting tables and chairs out on to the We stroll through the pavements. Nobody takes the slightest notice. except perhaps when one of the re gular, customers or the landlord him- selt comes over, sits down and says:, "Well, gentlemen, what's going on in the world to-day? To End All Questionnaires
ONE of the prime arts of life is the ability to manage ono's purse in a sage, sane, and practical manner. Do you think you're practical?
Here is a series of questions taken from typical psychology tests used in colleges. Answer them honestly, or you won't get a thing out of the test.
When you're in doubt about an answer, score it against yourself rather than give yourself the benefit of the doubt. Having made ticks against "Yes" or No," look on page 7 for the method of scoring.
