pint milk, and 1 tablespoon orange marmalade.
Stir the mixture over a slow heat til the sugar is dissolved. Sift into 1 large bowl 0 ozs, self-raising flour, 8 ozs. wholement flour, 2 teaspoons #round ginger, 2 teaspoons mixed spice, a pinch of cayenne pepper and
1⁄2 teaspoon bl-carbonate of soda... Mix these well together and make a well in the centre.
Beat up 3 eggs, and pour into centre of dry ingredients. Acd_the cooled mixture of syrup, &c. Beal thoroughly, so that everything is well blended. Pour mixture into pre- pared_in_and" bake in a moderate oven 11 hours (Reguló mark 4) Turn on lo sicve to cool.
