Examined by Mr. Silva, Inspector Flattery said he did not notice any marks on Lul when he examined him. He did not see any attempt being made by Lul to stop Tam from speaking when they first came into the station.
His Worship enquired of Mr. Silva If any attempts had been made to find independent witnesses of the alleged assault.
Mr. Silva replied that no attempt had been made, but suggested that in the interests of both his client and the defendant an adjournment should be made to find such wii- nesses,
