Artist In Wales But

By Clem Lewis

London, Apr. 19. LOOKING back over our international Rugby season the name of Sid Williams, the Aberavon wing, comes first to mind. He was our finest international discovery. We had cause also to be thankful for the unearthing of M. J. Davies, the South African Welshman, who was discovered at Oxford. Taken all round, we should be well off for centres next season.

To me the greatest artist in Welsh talning, but it is regrettable that our football to-day is Willie Davies, the "Sevens" tournament fell through! Swansea and Wales fly-half. Tanner Two things in the main accounted has been quite consistently good, but for this--the lukewarm altitude of it is Davies who has reached the the Welsh Union and the half-hearted sublime heights.
