SOLUTION Rest Of Rugby Season Could Be Devoted To

Scrum Experiments

By Peter Lawicas

London, Mar. 22.

With the match between the Army and the Royal Air Force at Twickenham on Saturday the representative games of the season come to an end. But there are hosts of club games to come, to say nothing of the Barbarians' tour, before the season dies. Why not use the balance of these games for experiments in restraining the destructive activities of back-row forwards; and in finding a practical solution to the hooking problem?
