"Naturally I and my associates are much gratined at the reaction in this hemisphere and in Europe. There are evidences of a definite feeling that a practical and timely contribution has been made to the cause of peace," said Mr. Hull.

He said no direct reply had yet been received from either Germany or Italy.-United Press.
