REVIVAL OF INTERPORT POLO ENVISAGED

Singapore Army Team To Visit Manila For A Series Of Matches

Manila, Apr. 11.

A revival of Far Eastern interport polo competitions will be witnessed this month as plans of the Manila Polo Club will find crystallization in the acceptance by the Royal Artillery polo team from Changi, Singapore, of the Club's invitation to play a series of games here. The British polo squad is scheduled to arrive in Manila April 21 and will play a series of three matches at Forbes Field starting April 23.

His Excellency the Governor, Sirl Geoffry Northcote did not visit the ranges in the afternoon as he had intended.

Bad weather in the past few days! has prevented many of the events being competed, and as a result the prize distribution which was to have nicen place yesterday has been post- poned to May 14,

In spite of the rain competitors were on the ranges by D a.m. yester- first event. "There was good light but wind, described by the majority of the shooters as "tricky," slightly hampered the accuracy of some of the competitors.
