IN THE PAST YEAR
His Excellency the Governor, Sir Geoffry Northcote, yesterday afternoon presented medals to the Hongkong Police and members of the District Watch Force, at a ceremony at Police. Headquarters,
Later the Governor reviewed the work of the local police over the year, paying tribute in many cases, and later speaking frankly on other aspects of the police activities.
A number of the medals were awarded in connection with work at the New Territories border consequent to Sino-Japanese hostilities.
