Questions word recently asked in the British House of Commons about the Empira air routes being utilised for the transport of children who to school in England como from homes in other parts of the Empire.

Other building activities in the Central District include the new 10 storey building to be erected on the site at present occupied by the firm of Tak Cheong, inllors and men's outfitters; and the remodelling of the facade, of a two storey building in Des Voeux Road Central at present occupied by the China Products Com- pany. The Hongkong, Stock Exchange official summary issued at 4.00 p.m. yesterday says;
