Lai Wah Cup Final Tie Between Civilians And Chinese For To-morrow

(By "Abe").

The Football League programme is rapidly drawing to a close, only two or three weeks being needed before the competitions aro comploted.

To-morrow, for instance, will see the final of the La! Wah Cup played between the Civilians and the Chinese. The game will be played on the Hongkong F.C. ground at 4 pani.

Two good elevens have been selected and a splendid game should be seen, though I expect it will end in a victory for the Chinese, who because of their superlor combination, will definitely start favourites.

The Chinese Selectors apparently are now recognising the qualities of Hou Yung-sung. the Kwong -Wah -right back, who has again been chosen for to-morrow's match. Hou played a fine game against England in the International last week and is rewarded by being selected once more, which should encourage him to greater efforts.

The Civllan attack seems sound enough if all the Ave forwards select- ed turn out; but one of the worst matches Icatures of representative

this season is that many players selected do not turn out and their places have had to be filled by re- eerves. The defence will probably bo given busy time by the nippy Chinese forwards, and it will have to be left to be seen whether they One thing can stand up to the strain. about them is that they are a fast lat, and can be relied upon to recover quickly.

LEAGUE MATCHES

The most important game in the League programme to-day Is that be- "tween Kowloon and South China "A"--- on the Kowloon F.C. ground. The reason for this is that if South China งา "A" can collect two points, they will be one point ahead of the Royal Navy and in the final and deciding match between the two teams they will
